Welcome to Bridgeport Family Chiropractic - Your Waterloo Chiropractor

Many people think of chiropractic care as something needed only when suffering an acute back injury, but it can be so much more than that. At Bridgeport Family Chiropractic in Waterloo, our focus is on helping you reach and maintain your highest possible level of health and wellness.

Our Philosophy

We believe that the chiropractic adjustments and other treatments you receive at our in-office sessions are only one part of a holistic approach to wellness. In order to help you live a full and healthy life, we’ll provide lifestyle and nutritional guidance that ensures your body gets everything it needs, enabling you to stay healthy and active. The five essential elements of our program are:

  • Maximized Mind
  • Maximized Nerve Supply
  • Maximized Quality Nutrition
  • Maximized Exercise
  • Minimized Toxins

By bringing this philosophy to bear in all of our treatments, we’re able to meet you where you are and help you start down the road to real wellness.

The Chiropractic Approach

The chiropractic approach takes the health of your musculoskeletal and nervous systems into consideration, as well as all of the ways that those systems interact with other parts of your body. You may consider symptoms like back pain or neck pain to be isolated and discrete, but the truth is they can have far-reaching causes as well as ramifications.

Through a combination of hands-on chiropractic manipulations that restore proper alignment of your musculoskeletal system and other therapies designed to support your body’s natural healing processes, our chiropractor provides comprehensive treatment tailored to meet your needs.

Improving Your Overall Health with Our Chiropractic Services in Waterloo

Whether you’re dealing with some form of chronic pain, suffering from an acute injury, or have an underlying medical issue, we offer tailored chiropractic treatment programs designed to meet your specific needs. In addition, we provide free health talks, recipe nights, workshops, and weekly exercise classes, all of which are planned and organized around the guiding principles of our practice.

Maintaining good spinal health will have a positive impact on every other aspect of your life and ignoring your spinal alignment can have quite the opposite effect. We not only treat existing issues, but we teach you how to engage in healthy spinal biomechanics so that you are at a lower risk of developing pain or other negative health complications in the future. We take great pride in treating all of you, and we feel privileged to be able to guide you on your way towards realizing your best self.

Testimonials

Reviews By Our Satisfied Clients

  • "For years, I had suffered from migraines. This led to seizures and to TiA’s. No doctor could give me the reason why or help me. All I got was more medicine (I was up to 14 pills every day). After one month I am now down to three in the morning and two at night. I haven’t had any seizures and have only had a few migraines. Compared to before, I am able to get out of bed for a reason.
    I have my life back!!"
    Sheila O.
  • "I feel like I’ve finally gotten a road map to a better life. I’ve been losing weight and feeling better, more alive. I’ve also found myself feeling less stressed out with the daily grind. I’ve been able to take charge of situations which would normally send me into a panic."

  • An Apple a Day . . .

What is so good about an apple? Is it the color, ranging from ruby red to pale pink? Is it the crunch? The sweetness? If this were a multiple choice quiz, the answer would be "all of the above". Importantly, in addition to possessing numerous appealing physical qualities, apples contain an abundance of health-promoting biochemicals known as phytonutrients.1,2 These specific organic molecules are derived not only from apples but many other fresh fruits and vegetables, and help power the immune system, protect against cancer, maintain healthy eyes, and assist cells in clearing out metabolic waste products such as free radicals. ...
